Baobab Market

African women work so hard to keep their families together and attend to their needs, the women sell at local food markets, go to the river side daily, and are home in time to be mothers and prepare the evening meal.

African women are very industrious people, and In African society, when you educate a man you lift an individual, but when you educate a woman you lift an entire nation. In this art piece the women chat amongst themselves as they walk home from the market guided by the warmth and light of the African Sunshine.
